Another large crowd watched the work with interest, and included in the spectators were several of the fair sex. Grand Knight’s Three Grand Knight was the first out and the English-bred horse was sent three furlongs, a task which he accomplished with great relish in 38sec. He looks well and appe-ars to have done a lot of work. Whetuhine Pleases Little River and; Whetuhine wore associated in a spin over a mile on number one grass, the latter pleasing most, and the distance was covered in 1.50 4-5. Deluge Goes Five Deluge jumped off from the five furlongs and was timed from the four furlong peg to run 50 4-5. The Absurd gelding appeared to be doing it well at the finish and should go well in the •Borough Handicap. Bennanee Nicely Bennanee (J. Barry), who was sent four furlongs, covered the distance in 52sec. but did it nicely. Zircon and Day Bell went at threequarter pace over a circuit, the former pleasing most. A Trio of Jumpers Hallo wmorn, Bonny Rill and Ban juke were associated in a spin over a mile and the first namad, going nicely, was always a little ahead of his companions with Ban juke, losing ground at first, close up when the task was completed in 1.50 1-5. Hollowmorn jumps so well and has so much pace that.it would not pay to leave him out of calculations in the Steeplechase to-day. In a run over six furlongs Degage his out well and got to the end of the journey in a shade under 1.18. She looks as if she will be hand, to beat in the Connolly Handicap. Birkcnclla (P. Mcßrearty) went once round over the country, shaping well. Rangatahi (R. E. Thomson) and Gauntlet (P. Mcßrearty) went once round over the hurdles at a good pace but the former tired, somewhat and got into a couple of fences, dragging a leg through the final obstacle. However he was not hurt and pulled up well. Just John (E. St an way) jumped two hurdles in taking style and then went round on the flat at a good steady pace. All Have Arrived. F.
