LANDSLIDE TO LIBERALISM EIGHT MORE SEATS GAINED. Received Mav 17. 11 p.m. (A & N.Z.) OTTAWA, May 17. The Liberals, who have been in power in Quebec since 1897, swept the province at the elections on Monday, capturing at least 72 out of 85 seats, compared with 64 held at the dissolution.
