NATIONAL DAIRY SHOW
NEXT MONTH’S FIKTURE. The attention of readers is drawn to the fact that the entries for the big winter exhibition which is to be held at Palmerston North from June 14 to 18 inclusive will finally close on Tuesday, May 31. These include entries for both live stock and poultry, and those who anticipate making entries are advised to do so right away so as to avoid the possibility of leaving them too late.
The prize list this year is replete with generous cash prizes, and a long list of handsome cups and trophies is also included in. the booklet. Amongst the competitive sections are classes for fruit, honey, vegetables, field roots, seed and grain, and for the busy housewife a very attractive list of home cookery and art needlework classes is provided. The Manawatu Poultry Association will also hold its annual exhibition in cpnjunction with the big National Dairy Show, and the entries for this section will also finally close on Tuesday, May 31.
