THE TIDES.
WEATHER FORECAST. The Government Meteorologist, at 7.30 last night, issued the following forecast for 24 hours. Present indications are for southwest winds strong to gale, but decreasing shortly, the barometer rising everywhere, weather cold and changeable 1 generally with passing showers, particularly along the eastern coast.
