VISIT TO LONDON BRILLIANT WELCOMES ARRANGED. (A. & N.Z.) LONDON, May 15. Brilliant welcomes arc being arranged for M. Doumergue (President of France) and M. Briand (Foreign Minister) who aro visiting a State banquet at Buckingham Palace, dinner at the Foreign Office, and luncheon at the Guildhall. M. Doumergue will receive the degree of Doctor of Laws at Oxford on Tuesday. The newspapers publish welcomes in French. Diplomatic correspondents attach importance to M. Briand *s discussions with Sir Austen Chamberlain on the evacuation of the Rhineland.
