DETERIORATED LANDS
TO-MORROW’S CONFERENCE REVALUATIONS AT TAUNOKA. Representatives of local bodies from as far north as Raglan and south as Rangitikei, as well as members of Parliament, will meet in conference at the City Council Chambers, Wanganui, tomorrow, to discuss the deteriorated lands problem. In this connection the recently appointed Deteriorated Lands Board has inspected settlers holdings on the Taunoka Road below Pipiriki, new valuations, with which the farmers are well pleased, having been the outcome of the visit. The area concerned is in the Waitotara County.
