MR. HOLLAND’S CHARGES PRIME MINISTER WILL REPLY TO-NIGHT. (Special to “Chronicle.”) AUCKLAND, May 14. Touching on the dairy control quesi tion, a reporter travelling with the Prime Minister, reminded him at Auckland yesterday that Mr. H. E. Holland, Leader of the Opposition, had made much of the assertion that Mr. Coates had a lot to explain concerning his doings in England. j “I shall deal with dairy control fully ■ during my speech at Dargaville ou ;Monday night,” replied Mr. Coates. ■“Mr. Holland may say I have a lot to explain; bul I have a few questions for him to answer too. It is all very well to make capital out of a mistake and jto misrepresent the position. But one : can’t get away from facts. ! 4 4 Just now I prefer to be silent. But 11 will deal with the question on Monday. I do not wish to make it hard jfor Mr. Grounds. That is not my intention. 1 have not discussed the matter with him at all.”
