BANGITIKEI RUGBY UNION A meeting of the management committee of the Rangitikei Rugby SubUnion was held last evening, Air R. G. Dalziell presiding. The chairman and Air Drummond were appointed to interview Rata with reference to holding some of their games for the Dalziell Cup on the Marton or Huntervile grounds. The Athletic-Old Boys junior match on June 8 was set down as a Bengal Cup fixture. A protest from Ohingaiti against Halcombe for alleged playing a senior ' player in a junior fixture was dismissed. The dates suggested by the Wanganui Rugby Union for the Rangitikei Taihape match on Alay 21, and Wanganui against Taihape and Rangitikei combined on May 28 were not agreed to by the committee as they interfered with the club fixtures. The chairman referred to the behaviour of the public on the Turakina ground on May 14, crowding over the ground and using bad language. —It was resolved that in future the whole of the matches for the present season of the Kotahitanga Club be played on the Marton ground, on account of the state of the Turakina ground and the behaviour of the public. The matter of a subsidy to the Kotahihanga Club was deferred. The secretary was instructed to write to the Taranaki Union for a return match at Marton, and also to arrange with the Bush Union for a return match at Pahiatua.
