MADAME MENERE RETURNS TO I NEW ZEALAND. After an absence of 12 months, dur I mg which time they have visited practically every fur growing country in the world, Madame and Mr. Menere, the ! noted Christchurch Fur Merchants, re-, turned to New Zealand last week with what must be considered the largest i consignment of Furs ever imported into New Zealand at one time, the total value being well over £lO,OOO. Ladies, will still remember their display in Wanganui last year, which caused quite a sensation, but this year will easily i eclipse it. Fur Coats of Real Mole, j Real Seal, Russian Sable, Real Golden I Sdal (the first to be imported into New Zealand), Real Alaska Seal, Russian' Naturtil Alusquash, Marmot, Squirrel! Ermine, Kolins y, Beaver, Nutria, Per- i chaniki, Chincilla, etc., etc., will be on I view in hundreds, also some very charming Evening Wraps of White Fur, trimmed with Ostrich Feathers, Fur Opera dotiks and Bridge Wraps of every known pelt will also be shown, as well as Necklets of every kind. During their wanderings Madame and Mr. Afenere secured some j remarkable Eastern Novelties in Real. Tapestry, Necklets of Amber, etc.' These will be shown in Wanganui. The display will commence about Thursday next in Wanganui, at an address which will be advertised in this paper on Thursday next.
