COBONER’S FINDING [Per Press Association.] CHRISTCHURCH, May 2. The inquest on Timothy Harnett, an old age pensioneer, who died suddenly in his house on Thursday, was concluded before Mr Lawry, S.M., to-day. Evidence taken on Friday was to the effect that Harnett returned to his lodgings under the influence of liquor and took a fit from which he did not recover. Medical evidence was that death was due to asphysxia, caused by a foreign body obstructing the air passage. The Coroner found accordingly.
