FISH FOR CAMPERS MAGISTRATE IMPOSES FINE (Special to “Chroniclo.”) AUCKLAND, April 29. “Oh rubbish” said Mr F. K. Hunt, S.M., when Mr J. F. Dickson to-day explained to him at the Police Court that Herbert Kilburn, a lad charged with using gelignite to catch fish at Manukau had been camping with other youths, and, running out of food, had either to starve or catch fish. It was stated that accuced was now awaiting trial on another charge in connection with an incident arising out of the camp. His Worship said it was a cruel way of catching fish and fined Kilburn £2.
