MALCOLM CAMPBELL AGAIN A DETERMINED CHALLENGER. LONDON, April 27. ”1 am determined to beat Major Scgrave, if it costs my last pound,” reports Malcolm Campbell, who says he will definitely proceed to Daytona Beach (Florida) in October. He injured his spine at Brooklands, otherwise he ivould have gone before. He has reconstructed his 450 horsepower Napier-engined Bluebird to develop 750 horsepower, and anticipates attaining a speed of from 215 to 220 miles and hour.
