ALL SEEM HAPPY STEAMER HINEMOA’S RETURN TO AUCKLAND (Special to “Chronicle/’) AUCKLAND April 28. During her recent Islands trip the Hinemoa which returned to Auckland to-day took seven lepers from Samoa to the leper station at Makogai. Three were half castes while the other four were Samoans. The ship’s officers report that everyone seemed happy at Makogai.
