Line steamer Port Caroline which returned to Wellington last week from ; the Wanganui roadstead to complete loading . for London, was found to have her bunker coal smouldering cn Saturday morning. It was found desirable to unload the coal into a hulk alongside the liner at the Pipitea Wharf. The Fort Caroline suffered no structural damage, and it is expected that she will sail as previously arranged to-morrow evening or on Thursday morning for London, via MonteA generally fine weather voyage was experienced by the Royal Mail liner Aorangi, which reached Auckland from Vancouver, Honolulu and Suva on Sunday evening.
