DAIRYMEN ALARMED
THE LONDON SLUMP MR COATES ASKED FOR REPORT. [ Per Press Association. 1 PALMERSTON N., March 8. Alarmed at the butter situation in London, the Manawatu and West Coast. Dairy Factories’ Association, at a meeting to-day. decided to obtain from Mr Coates information regarding tho present position, land also a statement from him in connection with the financing and cotrol of New Zealand dairy produce. Members expressed the opinion that having just returned from England, where ho personally investigated matters in connection with the industry, Mr Coates should be in a position to express a definite and impartial opinion on the actual conditions on the London market.
