COLD MINING
THE MAJESTIC COMPANY Following is the mine manager’s report on the Majestic mine:— The crosscut at 2261 feet proved the reef to be 20 feet in width and indications point to the. fact that it is in the sulphide zone. The ore at this point is not payable; but, as the northern end of the chute of payable ore in the United Section 5s at least 100 feet farther south, the drive has now been resumed to reach that point. The change in the appearance of the ore in the present face indicates that higher ore should be obtained at this level when the objective has been reached.
