THWARTED DESIRES
A SUICIDE RESCUE ARAB WHO WANTED TO DIE. Received March 8, 5.5 p.m. PARIS, March 8. Attab Said, an Arab, was dragged out of the Seine where he had thrown himself, saying he was tired of life. He violently attacked the rescuing policeman who was sent to hospital. Attab, fighting to the last, was carried to the police station, explaining: “I only wanted to die.”
