A man, well known in Napier, is at present looking upon the Royal visit with mixed feelings. A sworn teetotaller for two years, he deserted tho pledge last Friday evening, and deserted it to such a good purpose that 2 a.m. Saturday found him much enlivened indeed. At that hour, firmly convinced that some strange metamorphorsis had transformed him into the Duke, he clambered out upon the balcony of the hotel at which he was staying and, striking an attitude hardly regal, although it was meant to be, solemnly harangued an imaginary crowd in the street below,
