Beautiful ana interesting as the whole river is, the part from the Bouse boat down to Pipiriki is the best of all. Tho great walls close in, rising sheer from the water’s edge. Surmounting thorn are stately hills, whose tree-crowned crests rise to kiss the heavens, and over all is spread a glorious mantle of vegetation. Such wealth of foliage, such harmonious blending of colours, such magnificent is displayed, tho pleturo ls> a perfect sdkk’c masterpiece.
