MENTALLY DEPRESSED
A FARMER’S SUICIDE [ Per Press Association. ] TE KUITI, March 5. A farmer, Andrew Robert Campbell, living at Mairoa, ck\cn miles from Te Kuiti, was found shot on a hill behind his house this afternoon. Deceased had been missing since Friday morning. He had been depressed for several days owing to financial worries. Search parties went out, but failed to locate him. When the partj was approaching the scene of the tragedy a report was heard, and deceased was found shot. At the inquest this afternoon, a ve - ict was returned ■ that deceased met his death by gunshot self inflicted while in a state of meni tai deuression.
