HOTELKEEPERS FINED QUALITY OF LIQUOR DOUBTED. (Per Preus Association.! WELLINGTON, March 4. Five publicans who bottled other liquor in bottles from which the original labels had not been removed were fined £3O each by Mr E. Page, S.M., today. A sixth, Kelleher, of the Albert Hotel, who had been previously convicted for a similar offence, was fined £4O. f Tho five were: Frobisher (Albion Hotel), Kennedy (To Aro Hotel), Atwood (Railway Hotel, Lower Hutt), Meagher (Bellevue Hotel, Lower Hutt). When Mr Perry, for accused, said that there was no suggestion that the liquor had been tampered with, Mr Macassey (Crown Prosecutor) said that it was all of inferior quality.
