A RARE SPECIMEN
STRANDED WHALE SCIENTISTS GREATLY INTERESTED. SYDNEY, March 4. The whale washed ashore on Tuesday has been identified as a Rissos Grampus, a rare specimen of the whale family. This is the first occasion on record that a whale has definitely been known to invade the southern seas. The capture is of great importance to scientists.
