OPENING OF CANBERRA FREE STATE NOT REPRESENTED. LONDON, March 3. Mr William Cosgrave, president of the Irish Free State, has cablcAl Mr S. M. Bruce regretting the inability of himself or any of his Ministers to attend the Canberra opening ceremony, owing to the imminence of the general election.
NO DECISION YET INVITATION TO CANADA. OTTAWA, March 3. The Acting-Premier, Mr La Pointe, stated that a definite announcement of the Canadian reply to the Australian invitation to send an official representative to Canberra for the opening of Parliament would bo made when Mr Mackenzie King returns from his brief holiday in the United States.
