W.C.T.U. [ From the “ Chronicle’s ” Special Correspondent. ] At the February meeting of the W.C.T.U. nine members were present. Mrs Dux.field gave an interesting address. Miss Cheyne (Scotland) was also present and compared the work in New Zealand favourably with that being done in her home country where there are 80,000 members. At the branch meeting seven members were present. Those present decided to ask the public for donations of books and magazines, also for gifts of cast-off clothing to bo left with the attendant at the Rest Room any Friday.
