NATIVES ATTACK MISSION LOYAL BLACKS’ HEROIC ACTION R-eceived March 4, 10.30 p.m. DARWIN, March 4. Further details of the attack by natives on the Mullingisnby mission station show that the natives were dressed in war paint when they made their attack. Robertson went for a gun and when he appeared with it he was greeted with a fusilade of spears. One hit him on the left arm, another on the hand, taking off part of a little finger, and a third struck him on the body causing a nasty wound. He was pulled into the house by the mission natives, whose action saved his life. All the attackers were slightly wounded, but escaped till next morning, when they were captured.
