GOOD JUMPING SPORTS AT WELLINGTON. (Per Press Association.; WELLINGTON, Feb. 20. A remarkably fine performance was put up in the high jump at the Olympic Club sports meeting yesterday. Brady and Skeats both cleared sft. JOJin. ' The former then went to achieve six feet. This is the best jump ever recorded by a New Zealander in New Zealand. The Australasian record is 6ft. Ilin., made by Kelly, of Victoria. which was also put up in New Zealand. Brady endeavoured to clear 6ft. IJin. and only failed by a touch. ETERINEAUX CUP LADIES’ RELAY RACE. [ Pel Preml Association. 1 GISBORNE, Feb. 19. At the Amateur Athletic meeting the Eteveneaux Cup relay race resulted: —- Poverty Bay (Misses Eastwood Wilson, McCarthy, and McDonald) 1, Wellington (Misses Manttan, Porter, Collins and Sevenson) 2. Time: 53 2-ssec.
