At the Addington market heavy entries were again the rule to-day, a large number of owes coming from the North Island and Marlborough. Store Sheep—Good ewes sold well and lambs sold with little change, but secendary ewes were easier. Dairy Cattle.—The entry of dairy cattle totalled 78 head, including a few exceptionally good springers. An extra good one brought £l9. The ewes forward comprised all i masses, some pens being of very nice i quality. Prices for al classes receded fully 2s a head. Prices were: Prime wethers 28s to 32s 6d, medium 23s to 25s 6d, others to 22s fid, extra prime owes to 25s 6(1, prime 17s 61 to 2us medium 14s to 16s 6d, old and inferior 10s 6d to 13s 6d; extra heavy wether mutton 4id per pound, prime light ad to s|d, ewes 3d to 4d. Lambs.—A penning of 697 of mixed quality. The demand was slow throughout the sale and all classes ws-re easier by Irani Is to Is 6d. Prices were: Extra heavy lambs to 33s 3d, prime heavy 27s to 27s 9d, prime medium weights 23s to 24s 6d, unfinished 18s 6d to 2-s ■ 9d. WANGANUI SAT.-R At the Wanganui stock sale yesterday, there was a large attendance of buyers. Prices realistfl were as under:— 260 lambs, 12s lid; 250 2, 4 and 6-th ewes, 18s 9d; 189 m.s. lambs, 13s 6d; 430 lambs, 15s 7d; 139 m.s. lambs, 7s 2d; 105 ewes, 9s 8d; 148 m.s. lambs, 7s Id; 142 2-th. ewes, 20s 3d; 150 5year ewes, 10s; 239 4 and 5-year ewes, 15s 7d.
