SERIOUS CRIME
AN ALARMING INCREASE FIGURES FOR NEW SOUTH WALES. Received Feb. 16, 5.5 p.m. SYDNEY, Feb. 6. According to the annual report of the Commissioner of Police, tabled in the Assembly, there was a large increase in serious crime and crime of all classes, including offences by persons under the age of 21, in New South Wales in 1926. The total increase, compared with 1925, was 14,298 cases*
