NOBODY’S FAULT
THORNDON BATHS FATALITY (Per Presb Association.) WELLINGTON, Feb. 16. Evidence at the inquest on the child Ratcliffe, who was drowned at Thorndon baths on Saturday afternoon, showed that despite exhaustive inquiries by the police of many of the bathers, no one had come forward able to throw light on'the matter. The coroner said there was nothing to show how deceased came to be found at the bottom. His finding was that deceased accidentally drowned. Reasonable care was taken by the caretaker and no blame could be attached to anyone.
