HEADMASTER INJURED
PAINFUL SCALD ON LAUNCH MISHAP WHILE FISHING. While deep-sea fishing off Cape Brett recently, Mr W. H. Moyes, headmaster of Now Plymouth High School, met with a painful accident. He was making his way along the launch when it lurched and capsized a bowl of boiling water on to his feet, badly burning them. Fortunately a doctor was a member ’of the party and was able to render first aid. The launch was headed for Cape Brett lighthouse, where Mr Moyes.’ injuries received further attention. He was ordered to hospital, and decided to return forthwith to his home by car. Since then ho had been making satisfactory progress but it will probably Im? a fortnight before he will recover the full uso of hffi feet.
