MARTON SALE. The N.Z. Farmers’ Co-op. Distributing Co. Ltd. report on the Marton sale as follows:—We yarded 3700 sheep including a line of 1000 2-th wethers which sold at 21s 2d. There was no enquiry for 2-tooth ewes and breeding ewes were not keenly competed for. Prices were as follows:—Fat 2-ths 245, 2-th wethers 21s 2d, 6-yr. breeding ewes 18s 6d, 4-th ewes 21s 7d; cull ewes 10s, cull b.f. lambs 9s lOd, cull w.f, lambs 5s 3d, 1-shear S.D. rams 4 gns; 2-shear S.D. rams 4gns; fat cows £4. CLEARING SALE AT KIMBOLTON. Abraham and Williams Ltd. report: At Kimbolton on Monday we conducted an unreserved clearing sale for Mr. R. G. Davies who has recently sold his property. There was a large attendance of the public from the immediate district and a fair number from as far away as Otaki, Himatangi, Colyton and Pohangina. Complete arrangc;*ients had been made to pen over three thousand sheep and a highly successful sale result/d. Quotations: Sheep: 4 and 5year Romney ewes, 10s, 15s 9d, 16s; 6tooth ewes 28s 6d; 4-tooth ewes 265; 2tooth ewes 25s sd, 2, 4 and 6-tooth ewes 17s Id, ewe lambs 15s 6d, wether lambs 13s, mixed lambs 9s, 10s 4d, b.f. lambs 13s 9d, 2-tooth wethers 18s, 4-tooth wethers 20s, 2-tooth black faces 18s; Romney rams, 4, 6th and 4-year, 10s; Southdown rams £5 ss. Cattle.—Hereford Shorthorn cows, and calves £3 10s, 4-yr. H. & S. bullocks £6 ss; 2| to 3-yr. Hereford steers £4 ss; cows and heifers £3 ss; 24-yr.
