CLAIM AGAINST ESTATE
WIDOW SEEKS ALLOWANCE. (Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Feb. 15. An interesting case under the Family Protection Act came before Mr Justice Adams in the Supreme Court to-day. The plaintiff, Lily Elizabeth Newman, made application for provision out of the estate of her first husband, Joas Gracia, a farmer of Waikerikekeri. She alleged that Gracia died without mailing adequate provision for her, and her present husband could earn only £3 a week as a casual labourer. His Honour said that important ?h--sues were involved, and he directed that the case be argued before a full bench of Judges.
