AMUSEMENTS, MEETINGS, ETC.

HIS MAJESTY’S THEATRE Patrons at His Majesty’s Theatre tonight or Thursday and Friday should receive full value for the price paid for admission. “The Bat” and “The Auction Block” are the main picture features, while Jackie Clark provides the personal entertainment. 1 ‘ The Bat” is one sensation after another, with no solution until the moment the story gives its secret up. Romance shines undefeated throughout all the troublesome plots and counter plots. A talented trio of screen players—Eleanor Boardman, Charles Ray and Sally O’Neill—fill the leading roles in “The Auction Block,” which is the supporting feature.
