CAR CAPSIZES
YOUNG WOMAN KILLED OTHER OCCUPANTS INJURED (Per Press Association.) INVERCARGILL, Feb. 14. While motoring to Colac Bay on Sunday morning a car driven by Airs Bruce Ireland became unmanageable in loose gravel and capsized. Miss Phyllis Fleming, aged 20, was killed instantly, her head being crushed by the back seat. Her father, Herbert Fleming, the wellknown flour miller of Gore, was also severely crushed, all the ribs on one side being broken. His condition is serious.
Mrs Ireland suffered cuts and shock, but was able to proceed to her home.
