WORKERS CONDITIONS
SUGGESTED NEW LEGISLATION ENGLISH RAILWAYMEN PROTEST LONDON, Feb. 13. At the conference of the Railwaymen ’s District Councils a resolution was passed demanding that the national political, and industrial movements oppose the legislation indicated in the King’s Speech, interfering with the Trades Disputes Act and restricting the functions of tirades unions. Pt was also resolved to insist on the unconditional restoration of. the guaranteed week and to arrange a conference in order to unite the three railway unions into one organisation.
