UNSTAMPED FOOTWEAR
MANUFACTURER FINED CARDBOARD USED IN SOLES [ Per Press Association. ] WELLINGTON, Jan. 21. The maximum penalty was imposed to-day on W. Corrona, boot manu facturer, who admitted exposing unstamped footwear for sale. The soles, it was alleged, consisted of a thin layer of leather and then cardboard.
