FAMILIES WIPED OUT AMERICAN LANDRU’S CONFESSION. WISHES TO DIE QUICKLY. NEW YORK, Dec. 27. George Hassell, of Tucson, Arizona, who two years ago married his brother’s widow, confessed that ho killed her and her eight children last week. He also confessed that he had obliterated at least two other families, using an axe each time. He said: “Five years ago I killed a woman with whom I lived and her three children, when I got tired of her. I also killed two men in Oklahoma.” Hassell added that he wished to die quickly.
