PAYMENT OF TRAVELLING EXPENSES NO PROVISION FOR VALIDATION. (Per Prew Association.) WELLINGTON, Sept. 5. Replying to Mr P. Fraser (Wellington Central) in the House of Representatives yesterday, the Hon. R. F. Holland said the additions to the Local Legislation Bill which had been introduced by Governor-General’s Message were the last. There was no provision for validating the payment of travelling expenses to members of County Councils, objected to by the AuditorGeneral.
