MOST BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY
ENGLISH VISITOR’S PRAISE ART AND SCIENCE BOARD [Per Press Association] WELLINGTON, March 12. The Board of Science and Art met to-day. It was resolved that the Government be requested to appoint a vulcunologist as early as posible, and the Board recommended the Government to pay the expenses of New Zealand delegates to the Tokio Science Congress next October. The importance of Dominion representation was explained, and the attendance of the administrators of Samoa and the Cook Islands was recommended. Sir Frank Heath was present and was welcomed by the Hon. R. F. Bollard, who remarked upon Sir Frank’s remarkable knowledge of New Zealand industries even before his arrival. Sir Frank Heath, replying, said that he was leaving Wellington to-morrow and was handing over his report before he left. He had thoroughly en joyed his visit to the most beautiful country he said he had seen. In his report he had pleaded for co-operation, by which enormous progress could be made.
