LICENSING POLL RECOUNT •MR ,T. C. RICHARDSON ELECTED. The unexpected happened in the ca- e of the Wanganui Licensing poll recount. Air J. C. Richardson, a member of th" old committee, going into fifth plac<. above Afessrs. Patterson and AlcNiven, who tied for fifth place in the original count. ' The recount, which was completed yesterday, gave Air Richardson three more votes, with Air Patterson a vote behind, and Mr AlcNiven in seventh place. Mr Richardson is a member of the old committee which has served for many rears. The fifth man was the late Mr N. Aleuli. The following are the figures as now established.
