HOW MANY PEOPLE?
CENSUS IN NEW ZEALAND. NEW FEATURES EMBODIED INCOMES TO BE STATED [Per Pre.s AssoHation.l WELLINGTON, Feb. 15. The census will be taken on the night of Tuesday, April 29. The reason for the alteration from Sunday is that so many people spend the week-end away from home and by Tuesday have returned. There are several new features in the returns, including the call for returns of income of persons over 16 years of age. This is being asked for in view of the Government’s proposals to provide assistance to householders with largo families.
