WANGANUI FREEZING WORKS SOLD
REFRIGERATING COMPANY’S OFFER ACCEPTED
MASS MEETING OF SHAREHOLDERS
A special general meeting of shareholders of the Wanganui Meat Freezing Company decided yesterday to sell its Castlecliff works, lighter, etc., to the New Zealand Refrigerating Company, which also owns the Imlay works. The purchase price is £40,000 cash, and 36,310 £1 paid shares in the New Zealand Refrigerating Company.
