FOR CANADIAN LEADER. LAST MINUTE NOMINATION. NEW YORK, Feb. 1. A Prince Albert message states that the Prime Minister, Mr Mackenzie King, is not to be elected to the House of Commons to represent this scat by acclamation as expected. When nominations for the by-election on February 15 closed on Monday, the name of B? L. Burgess had been entered at the last minute as an Independent.
