The Storm is due to sail this morning from Wanganui for Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru, Oamaru, and Dunedin. FHE BREEZE. The Breeze loads at Picton to-day and is due to arrive in Wanganui to-morrow. After discharge she will load at Imlay and will then sail for Lyttelton direct. THE CALM. The Calm is scheduled to load at Bluff to-day, Dunedin to-morrow, Oamaru and Timaru Friday, then to Lyttelton, Wellington and . Wanganui. THE GABRIELLA. The Gabriella is expected to sail to-day for Greymouth and Melbourne. Messrs S. Holm and Co. advise: — THE JOHN. The John is expected to arrive in Wanganui to-day from Lyttelton direct. THE PROGRESS. The Progress is now discharging cargo at Onehunga. THE HOLMWOOD. The Holmwood is expected to sail from I W’anganui next week for Newcastle. THE HOLMDALE The Holmdale is at Timaru to-day. Lyttel- 1 ton to-morrow, then goes on to Wellington, I and is due to arrive in Wanganui on Saturday. Messrs Johnston and Co. advise: — THE ARAPAWA. The Arapawa is due to arrive in Wanganui from Onehunga on Friday or Saturday. THE INVERCARGILL. The Invercargill left Wanganui early yesterday morning for Wellington. THE KAKAPO. The Kakapo, with a cargo of guano from Walpole Island, will be due in Wanganui about the end of the week. Messrs A. Hamrick and Co. advise: — THE INAHA. The Inaha arrived in Wanganui yesterday from Patea. THE KAPITI. The movements of the Kapiti are indefinite at present, but she may be expected to arrive in Wanganui from Wellington early. Messrs Cock and Co. advise:— THE OPUA. The Opua is due in Wanganui on Friday from Greymouth. PORT HUNTER’S MOVEMENTS. The C. and I). Line advise that the Port Hunter now loading here will proceed to Wellington to complete and is expected to leave there about Saturday for London via Panama. NEW STEAMERS ORDERED. According to cable advices, the White Star Line has ordered from Harland and Wolff, Belfast, two steamers with refrigerating machinery, for the Australian passenger service. RUAPEHU FOR HOME. The New Zealand Shipping Company advise that the liner Ruapehu, now at Napier, leaves to-day for Auckland, to complete her loading for Home. She is scheduled to sail finally from Auckland on February 9 for Southampton and London, via Pitcairn Island, Panama and Curacao. PERSONAL. Mr. A. W. McDonald has been appointed third officer of the Karetu, relieving Mr. R. i Allen for holiday leave. Mr. S. C. Angus has been appointed second officer of the Kaitoke. Mr. H. Henry has been appointed second officer of the Kaimai, relieving Mr. R. E. F. Osborne. Mr. A. H. Dunnings has been appointed third officer of the Kaimai, relieving Mr. G, F. Russell. Mr. J. Hare has been appointed second officer of the Waipahi, relieving Mr. H. Henry for instructions. Mr. C. J. Hackworth has been appointed chief officer of the Komata, relieving Mr. C. Sharpe for holiday leave. Mr. J. E. Biss, second engineer of the Waitomo, has been granted holiday leave, and Mr. W. F. Cameron has taken his place.
