MEAT SHIPMENTS
SOUTH AMERICAN TRADE. The New Zealand Meat Producers’ Board lias received a cablegram from its representative at Buenos Aires, South America, advising the following shipments to the United Kingdom for the fortnight ended December 10, from Argentina and Uruguay:—lG4,9OO quarters chilled beef, 10,500 quarters frozen beef, 52,296 carcases frozen mutton, 82,113 earcases frozen lamb. The quantity shipped to the Continent of Europe during the same period totalled 279 quarters chilled beef, 216,210 quarters frozen beef, 29,965 carcases frozen mutton, and 942 carcases of frozen lamb.
