NO CHANGE IN VALUES. [Per Press Association.] AUCKLAND, Dec. 22. At Westfield sale to-day an average yarding of beef was sold under steady competition, there being little or no cluinge in values, although light weight cattlu may h'ave been better. Cattle. —Extra prime ox made 34s per 100 lb; choice and prime, 29s to 325; ordinary, 25s to 28s; prime young cow and heifer beef, 27s to 30s. Sheep.—A large yarding sold under steady competition, prices being practically unchanged. A pen of extra prime wethers on account of Marist Bros., Tuakau, topped the market ht 44s 3d; extra heavy prime wethers, made 34s 3d; heavy prime, 31s; medium 28s 6d to 30s; small and unfinished, 24s to 26s to 26s 6d; heavy prime ewes, 22s to 255; light and unfinished, 18s to 21s Gd.

Pigs.—An average yarding, prices being unchanged. Choppers made, £3 5s to £4 4s; heavy and medium b'aconers, £4 to £4 ss; light baconers and heavy porkers. £3 8s to £3 14s; medium and light porkers, £2 to £2 15s. Calves. —These were penned in smaller numbers and sold readily at increased prices. Runners made £4 5s to £5 10s; heavy vealers, £3 10s to £4 ss; medium, £3 to £3 9s; light, £2 10s to £2 19s; small, £1 to £1 10s; fresh dropped, 3s to Bs. Lambs.—There was the usub.l large Christmas yarding, competition being keen throughout and exporters operating freely. There was no change in values. Heavy prime lambs made, 27s to 295; light. 22s to 365; unfinished. 18s to 21s.
