JUNIOR HOLIDAY FIXTURE BOXING DAY. The annual fixture between Wanganui and Manawatu will not be held thisj year owing to the inability of Ala.uawatu to send a representative team to Wanganui. Feilding junior representatives play Wanganui at Wanganui on New Year’s Day, and to enable the selector to select a team for tmsjnatch a trial match; will be played on Boxmg Day (Saturday next) on Cook’s Gardens, commencing at 10.30 a.oni. The selector (Mr Geo. Eeles) has chosen the following teams for this match, and any player chosen who will not be available is requested to notify early. A Team —Tabart, Smith, Kerr, Fairbairn, Ambrose (Tech.), W. Thrush, White (Trinity), Blennerhassett, Baldwin, Cooper (Aramoho), Walls (St. Paul’s). Reserves: Upion (St. Andrew’s, Tuffin (Alarists), Simpson (St. Ta ul’s). B Team. —Batchelor, Earles, Eeles, R. Francis, Wild, Lowe, G. Thrush (Wanganui), Cameron, Glover (St. Andrew’s), Foote, Law (Old Boys’). Reserves: Weller jun., G. Broad (Old Boys’), P. Prancis (St. Andrew’s). A number of players who would have been selected arc not available.
