MODERATES WIN
SANE LABOUR’S VICTORY PARLIAMENTARY PARTY'S ELECTION. NEW EXECUTIVE MEMBERS. Received December 22, 11.35 p.m. (Sun). LONDON, Dec. 21. The Parliamentary Labour Party’s election of an executive represents an emphatic victory for moderate policies. The former executive consisted of seven right wing and five left wing, and the new executive consists of ten right, wing and two left wing. Those elected arc Messrs Snowden. Graham, Thomas, Lees-Smith, Smillie, Trevelyan, Shaw, Welsh. AVebb, Lansbury, Adam son and Dalton. The. newcomers are Messrs Shaw, Welsh, Webb, Adamson and Dalton, replacing Messrs AV heatley. Roberts, Maxton, Spoor and Wedgewood.
