GENEVAN GAIETY CURBED POLICE REGULATIONS RESENTED. GENEVA, Dec. 13. Genova is wonderingly asking whether it is supposed to celebrate a thanksgiving festival or participate in national mourning on the occasion of the annual Fete do I.’Escalade. Tho police have issued regulations setting out: “It is forbidden to kiss women or young girls unaw'nros, to chase them into side, alleys, or to take hold of them round the waist, reprehensible acts nt which public opinion rebels.” Public opinion, especially among women, is inclined to resent the prohibition.
