WANGANUI STOCK SALE
POOR YARDING OF SHEEP. CATTLE SELL WELL. There was a fair attendance at the Wanganui stock sale yesterday. The yarding of sheep was poor, but both cattle and pigs came forward in greater numbers. The following .are the quo-Sheep.—Thirty-three wethers, £1 7s; 74 ewes, £1 4s. Cattle.—Four fats cows, £10; 12 store cows, £4; 36 P.A. cows, £6; 38 P.A. yearling heifers, £4 2s 6d; 28 P.A. cows ami heifers, £6 2s (id; 17 steers, £7 ss; 4 cows, £6; 2 bullocks, £ll 7s (id; 3 bullocks, £ll 10s.
Pigs.—Four porkers, sold at 72 8s; -1 ditto, £2 7s; 6 di'to, £2 10s; 4 ditto, £1 19s; 6 ditto. £3 2s; 4 ditto. £2 12s 6d. Wenners: Six at £l, 5 at £1 8s; 6 at £1 ss, and 6 at £1 6s.
